Safety approach

Respect the court.
Protect the players.

Hoopora is being designed to help local players and families make informed choices before attending a scrimmage. No platform can replace adult judgment, direct communication, or appropriate supervision.

Youth participation

Players under 15 will require permission from a parent or legal guardian. Parents and guardians should review game details, communicate with the host, and decide whether to attend or remain on site.

Meet in public

Use established public courts or recognized athletic facilities. Confirm the location, hours, lighting, access, and facility rules before the game.

Protect personal information

Do not publicly share a child’s home address, school schedule, private telephone number, or unnecessary identifying information.

Respect and reporting

Threats, harassment, discrimination, bullying, unsafe play, and sexual misconduct are incompatible with Hoopora. Leave an unsafe situation and report concerns to developer@gethoopora.com.

Emergencies

Hoopora is not an emergency service. Call 911 in the United States when someone is in immediate danger or requires urgent medical assistance.
